The New Enterprise Creation Program is one of the first Alberta Private Vocational School programs that focuses on creating new business opportunities for entrepreneurs.
The program consists of four major components:
- The first component relies on intensive classroom studies consisting of thirty individual training modules covering specific core skills in Business Management and Sales and Marketing. (30 classroom modules - 120 hours)
- The second component is the development and coaching of Peer Success Teams. These learning groups are used to develop a better understanding of interrelationship of key skill development combined with group dynamics skills. (130 hours)
- The third component is the individual one-on-one coaching provided for each student to develop their own working business plan (26 hours).
- The goal of all three components becomes the implementation and hands-on development of a viable business venture, which is the fourth and final component the practicum of the program (504 hours).
