The objective of the Self Employment Program is to assist individual men and women with the opportunity to create their own self employment businesses.

You may qualify for the program if you answer yes to the following:

1. You are currently on Employment Insurance or have been in the last 3 years.
2. You are an unemployed Albertan.
3. You have not started your business already.
   

Our program provides participants with:

• The opportunity to start your own business and remain eligible to receive EI benefits or to receive income support while you start your business.
• The opportunity to build a business while earning a certificate and generating business income.

The MKS Self Employment Program has three major components:

1. Classroom Training
2. One on One Coaching
3. Self Employment Community

As in anything, the start is always critical. And a running start is hard to compete against. We are the performance enhancer of new venture startups. Specially trained coaches provide the skills necessary to give new venture startups a running start at the sound of the gun.
